APS TROPHY
ACTIVE PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR TRACKED AND WHEELED VEHICLES
The Trophy is an active protection system (APS), operational and combat proven. It is based on a unique Hard Kill (HK) solution to neutralise guided missiles and anti-tank rockets (ATRs), including recoilless gun (RR) projectiles, and chemical energy (CE) munitions for battle tanks.
The Trophy offers a modular design, allowing it to be integrated into a variety of armoured vehicles. The Trophy has been integrated into the Merkava MK3, the Merkava MK4, twice into the Stryker armoured fighting vehicle (2006, 2010), the LAVIII (2013), as well as other vehicles.
Its main features are:
Crew survivability: high probability of threat destruction and low probability of collateral damage.
Low false alarm rate, with the ability to discriminate lethal threats from small arms, flares, helicopters, etc.
Ability to destroy all ATRs, RRs and ATGMs (including third generation ATGMs with high angle of attack).
- Networking/Lethality: The Trophy calculates the geographic location of the threat launch point and, through its integration with vehicle systems, enables the crew to effectively open return fire by quickly and accurately providing the location coordinates of the source of fire.
- Robustness: Capable of dealing with ATR, RR, ATGM and HEAT threats, including new and advanced (and unknown) threats.
- More than 1,850 systems installed on different platforms (the LEOPARDO, the Stryker, the LAVIII and the Merkava MK3 and MK4).

EUROTROPHY
EuroTrophy is the European project for the integration of the APS Trophy system in European Armed Forces vehicles. In cooperation with other companies in the industry, we provide all services related to the integration and life cycle of the most efficient active protection system on the market.
